Runway End Light Elevated is installed to provide quick identification of the end of a runway for a departuring aircraft. The
end light emits a red light to indicate the end of the runway.
The housing is yellow coated, lightweight and made of robust aluminum. It is unidirectional and has a lifespan of 60,000 hours.
Runway End Light Elevated complies with standards for ICAO and NATO:STANAG 3316.
