Le feu wigwag est un feu d’avertissement composé d’un feu clignotant jaune qui avertit les pilotes d’aéronefs ou les conducteurs d’autres véhicules qu’ils sont sur le point de rouler sur une piste. Les feux doivent être orientés de manière à ce que l’équipage puisse les voir lors du roulage vers la zone d’attente, et la commutation des feux doit se produire à une fréquence de 30 à 60 changements par minute.

Le boîtier est recouvert de jaune, léger, robuste et pèse 23,5 kg.

Le RGL dispose d’un réglage horizontal IWT ent : ± 20 °, un pas de 5°, ou d’un réglage vertical IWT ent : de 0 à +20 °, un pas de 1°, avec le système de verrouillage.

Conforme aux normes de l’OACI et de l’OTAN : STANAG 3316.

RGL is a warning light consisting of a yellow flashing light that warns pilots of aircraft or drivers of other vehicles that they are about to taxi onto a runway. The lights must be targeted so that the flight crew can see them when taxiing to the holding area, and light switching must occur at a frequency of 30 to 60 changes per minute.

The housing is yellow coated, lightweight, robust and has a weight of 23.5 kg.
